What is LocalPage?
A tool for people who sell websites to local businesses. It finds businesses that need a website, builds each one a demo site, and helps you share it, win the client and keep the site online.
Where do the businesses come from?
From Overture Maps, an open dataset of places worldwide. LocalPage then runs its own website check, so “needs a website” is our verdict, not just an empty field in a listing.
How do you decide a business needs a website?
If the listing shows no website, or the site we find is only a social page, has no secure connection, is not phone-friendly or does not load, you see it as an opportunity, with the reason. If a site blocks checks or we cannot be sure, we say so instead of guessing.
Will the demo invent things about the business?
No. Demos never contain made-up reviews, prices, years in business, licences, guarantees or awards. Unknown details stay neutral or are marked for you to confirm, and the “Before you share” checklist lists anything still to check. Stock photos are labelled as stock.
Which languages can the sites be in?
105 languages, from English, Latvian and German to Arabic, Hindi, Chinese, Japanese and Swahili, including right-to-left languages. The language follows the business’s country by default, and you can pick another before you build. The LocalPage app itself is in English, Latvian, Lithuanian, Estonian, Russian, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Polish.
What does the business owner see?
A private preview of their site with a small bar saying it was made for them by you, and an “I want this website” button. Preview links expire after 7 days (you can extend them) and are hidden from search engines.
How do I contact the business?
However you like: in person, by phone or by email. LocalPage gives you the link and tells you when it is opened. It never sends messages to businesses on your behalf.
What does it cost?
The Builder plan is €29 a month or €288 a year ($29 or $288 if you pay in US dollars; checkout shows your currency). The free trial gives you 3 AI demo builds over 7 days with no card. There is no fee per site.
What is an AI credit?
A demo build uses 10 credits and an AI edit uses 1. Editing by hand, switching styles and publishing are free. If a build fails, its credits come back.
How do I get paid?
Two ways, chosen per site. Bill your client yourself and keep 100%. Or use LocalPage Billing: your client pays a one-time fee and a monthly price you set through a LocalPage checkout, you keep 90%, and the money goes to your bank account. The site goes online when they pay.
Can the site use the business’s own domain?
Yes, if they already own one. LocalPage shows the one setting to add, step by step for common domain providers, and writes a message you can forward to whoever manages the domain. The secure connection (SSL) is set up automatically. Until then the site has a free LocalPage address.
What happens if my subscription lapses?
Your clients’ sites stay online for a 14-day grace period. After that they go offline until the subscription is active again, and nothing is deleted.
Can I edit the site after it is built?
Yes, everything: text, photos, colours, fonts, section order, which sections show. Hand edits are unlimited and free. You can also ask the AI for a change in plain words.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from your account page. The trial needs no card, so there is nothing to cancel if you only try it.
